The members’ lounge is the hub of the community. Workspace, social space, and almost everything else-space, means you’re sorted from dawn ‘til dusk (and on into the small hours). Bring your friends, ditch the cab and feel at the heart of the neighbourhood.
‘Mule’ is our very own bar and cafe run by the team behind Cow Hollow (yes, the cool AF Northern Quarter hotel). Morning caffeine fixes, midday light bites and evening cocktails for the shakers and stirrers of Ancoats. Forget the tupperware and stop agonising over meal deals - you’ve got the best food and drink around right here.
Use the screening room for everything from TED talk-style seminars to casual film nights. Turn the rooftop terrace into an outdoor gig space for a day, or get your crochet crew down to the snug. With endless possibilities, never feel stuck in the same routine – you control how you use every shared space.
Sometimes you need space for you and your closest to get together. Whether a special celebration, networking event, or just for the hell of it, our top floor kitchen has full cooking facilities, a large dining table and it opens out onto the Rooftop Terrace. It’s also free to book - with space for up to 20 guests - and all yours ‘till 11pm.
Proven to boost mental and physical wellbeing, your pets are our greatest allies in the battle for better wellbeing. When they need reinforcements, book dog therapy, puppy visits, or any other breed of four-legged R&R that helps you relax and feel like part of the pack. Need help tracking them down? The gym, which is situated next door, offers Anco&co members free access to all their facilities (you’ll only have to pay for personal training or classes). We’re also collaborating closely, letting them run events and classes in our shared spaces. Think summer rooftop yoga. Think meditation on the mezzanine. Think more energy and less stress so you feel ready for anything, instead of too tired to shift from the sofa.
Live and work in the same building. Make 6.30am alarms a thing of the past and let 9am coffee at Mule be the start of your new routine. Then settle into your own co-work space. Network with like-minds in the members' lounge and collaborate on projects upstairs in the snug (for more privacy) - all in a relaxed, sociable environment nurturing the cross-pollination of ideas. We partner with eco-friendly and carbon-neutral suppliers wherever possible. If you still don’t feel we’re doing enough, tell us. We’re always up for exploring ways to reduce our impact on the environment.

A smart home system integrated with Alexa and Sonos means voice-controlled temperature, lighting and music, so you can adjust your environment at any time; just say the word. It also makes Anco&co as efficient as possible, monitoring which rooms are being used so heat and light aren’t wasted. You can even keep an eye on your own energy consumption to see how much you’re saving.
